Bio: Daniel was born in Singapore but grew up in Myanmar. Daniel attended high school in Yangon, Myanmar at the International School of Yangon. Daniel was founder and president of the International School Golf Association during his junior year in high school. Through the I.S.G.A, Daniel created his school's first golf team, and as the captain competed internationally in multiple sports conferences. Upon graduation of high school Daniel served in the Singapore military for two years. After three months of Basic Military Training, Daniel was selected to undergo Officer Cadet School. During his time in O.C.S Daniel was posted to Temburong Jungles, Brunei for his jungle warfare course training and Gao Xiong, Taiwan for open land training. Daniel commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant on January the 13th of 2013, upon which he was posted to be Platoon 1 commander of Taurus Company in the 9th Division Singapore Infantry Regiment. His appointments in the military would include Conducting Officer for Basic Train-fire Package, Weapons Technical Handling, Physical Training, Strength Training and Urban-Operations Training to name a few. Upon completing military service Daniel started attending the University of Southern California in Spring 2014. Daniel is co-founder and president of the Burmese Students' Association here at the University of Southern California, he helped start the association in Fall 2014. Daniel actively plays a role in hosting Burmese cultural events here at the university. Daniel plans to go back to Yangon, Myanmar to help with his family business. Daniel plans to go into the food and beverage, hotel, real estate, and finance industries back in Myanmar. Ultimately, Daniel aims to save the lives of the poor people back in his country through the building of schools, hospitals and low-middle class residential districts. Daniel plays golf regularly, he also likes playing beach volleyball, chinlon (burmese sport), and basketball. He plays the guitar during his free time and loves to go to music festivals. In terms of music, he likes listening to country, edm, blues, rock, and jazz. Daniel's favorite quote is "Don't be a product of society, let the society be a product of you." Daniel loves taking road/ocean trips to far away places, he has a comic book collection and is geek when it comes to watches.
