The University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity would like to welcome you to The Business of Gaming!
Our event is meant to educate students about the financial world that is quickly developing behind the games they play. Many USC students own one console or more in their dorms but do not realize the breadth of the industry. In order to make a successful new game or console, much more than game designers and programmers are needed; there is an entire business oriented aspect that is often left out of the spotlight. Issues such as marketing, advertising, financing, business models, licensing, entrepreneurship, and development are key to the gaming industry and the event will highlight these concepts.
All set to happen: Friday September 28, 2007
*The event is free and open to the public. No Registration Needed
